the leader had 750,000 , me and the other guy had about 150,000 each. about 3 hands before i was on the ropes and hit a few lucky flops to catch back up......it was 2am neither player was talking deal so when we went to break i suggested we give the 1st plc money to the chip leader and split the 2nd and 3rd....the chip leader had no reason to deal at all. i figured my chances of finishing 3rd were way better than catching the leader, plus as i said it was late and i was dead tired.....if he hadnt had such a huge lead yea id have asked him to part with a lil but as it was i thought this was more than fair. the differance between 2nd and 3rd was alot also so splitting was what i really wanted to accomplish......i dont think i could have played long enough to take down the chip leader anyway if i even could have....and i would have lost a good bit had i finished 3rd.
